Oumar Camara, a Paris Saint-Germain teenager, has agreed to join Glasgow Rangers this summer.
According to writer Fabrice Hawkins, Rangers have reached an agreement with the 18-year-old to transfer to Ibrox this summer.
He reports that the captain of PSG’s U19 team has signed an agreement in principle to join Rangers at the end of the season. The 18-year-old striker, who can also play on the right wing, will sign a long-term contract at Ibrox.
PSG had given the child a professional contract to retain him in Paris, but the 18-year-old was enticed by the Rangers ambition and the opportunity to play in Europe at Ibrox.
His contract with PSG expires this summer, and he appears to have decided to reject the opportunity to stay in Paris in favour of a move to Glasgow.
This season, the teenager has nine goals and four assists in 25 games across all competitions, including the National U19 Group A, the UEFA Youth League, and the Coupe Gambardella.
It’s unclear what role he’ll play at Rangers next season, but they’ve given him with a project that has encouraged him to make the switch to Ibrox.
