Chris Sutton’s ridiculous reply to Barry Ferguson’s Rangers exit, with a major Celtic controversy

Celtic’s success has put off another Rangers manager, Barry Ferguson.

Bitter Chris Sutton can't give Barry Ferguson praise after Celtic win, makes Rangers job claim

Ferguson was only in temporary command at Ibrox, but he made no secret of his desire to be given the post on a permanent basis so that he could try to stop Celtic’s success.

Rangers are looking for their sixth manager in seven years, as they struggle to match Celtic’s power both on and off the pitch.

But when the news of Ferguson’s Rangers leaving surfaced last night, Chris Sutton replied with his usual elegance, along with a major question about Celtic that Ibrox fans will fear.

Chris Sutton asks ‘how many years’ will it take Rangers to catch Celtic

Sutton is well-known on social media and Sky Sports for his ability to outwit Celtic’s opponents.

However, when he attempted to gain traction on social media, it was the Celtic-related question he asked on his BBC platform that will resonate with both Parkhead and Rangers fans.

Sutton stated on X, “No more Bazball at Ibrox next season…”

But Sutton did not stop there. On BBC 606, he asked a question about catching Celtic that many Rangers fans dread.

Sutton went on to say, “There will be no more Bazball next season. Rangers fans, who do you want in charge?

“How many years is it going to take you to try and reel Celtic in?”

So that is the question. Celtic’s trophy success over the last 25 years is frightening as Brendan Rodgers attempts to complete the club’s eighth treble in history, and Sutton is spot on.

How long will Celtic go unopposed in Scotland?

Celtic’s trophy success since 2000 compared to Rangers

Celtic’s success in Scotland is unmatched. Officially Scotland’s most successful club, here is how the Bhoys’ trophy haul compares to Rangers since 2000.

Trophy wins Scottish Premiership Scottish Cup Scottish League Cup
Celtic 19 12 11
Rangers 7 6 7

It’s clear Celtic’s dominance looks like it won’t be ending anytime soon as Rangers scramble about looking for a new manager in the midst of an overly long rumour of a takeover.
