Cleveland, Ohio – When the Guardians traded Josh Naylor to Arizona this summer, they left a major gap in their lineup that will not be filled by a single player.
In this week’s episode of the Terry’s Talkin’ podcast, cleveland.com columnist Terry Pluto and presenter David Campbell addressed how the Guardians intend to replace Naylor’s output through a collaborative effort by many actors who are expected to take steps ahead in 2025.
“You’re not only trying to replace Naylor, who, yes, Naylor fell apart towards the end of the season, but it’s still 30 and 100,” Pluto said, referencing Naylor’s 31 home runs and 108 RBIs from last season.
