There were bound to be celebrations for the first win at Parkhead since 2020, as well as a watershed moment for interim manager Barry Ferguson.

Vaclav Cerny may have gotten a little carried away with his skooshing of the home fans with a water bottle, but Fergie insisted he hadn’t witnessed anything.

But Gers fans loved what Cerny did, and they thought the Celtic fans’ reaction was just as funny as the incident itself.

Their club has already issued a statement regarding the incident, and a police inquiry is expected.

The Czech winger may not be the only Rangers star in hot water.

According to the Daily Record, the police will not be the only ones investigating Cerny’s activities; he could also face charges from the SFA.

The governing body has restrictions for becoming involved with the crowd, and according to the article, a penalty may last up to eight games.

Police Scotland is understood to be putting pressure on Hampden chiefs to keep things under control, particularly in this fixture.

Dujon Sterling may also face legal ramifications for calling Celtic Park a’s—-hole’ in an Instagram post.

The man who made a spectacular clearance in the game praised his colleagues for their efforts while also poking fun at the opposing squad.

Rangers make most of Celtic celebrations

Cerny and Sterling were praised by Rangers fans both at the time and later on social media for capitalising on the opportunity.

As James Tavernier did his Sky Sports interview, music blared from the dressing area, leaving the players giddy.

It’s critical to make the most of these opportunities, and it appears to be getting under their skin.

Chris Sutton and Alan Thompson have both criticised Rangers’ perceived excessive celebrations.
