Key players across the league are dealing with injuries ahead of Matchday 5, with FC Cincinnati, Atlanta United, and LAFC facing notable absences.
Robinson Ready for FC Cincinnati

Good news for FC Cincinnati as Miles Robinson has been cleared to play in Saturday’s home match against Atlanta United. Robinson exited last week’s 2-0 loss at Charlotte FC in the 30th minute as a precaution, but he is fit to return.
Cincinnati still faces defensive challenges, though. Matt Miazga remains out as he recovers from knee surgery, and Teenage Hadebe—who replaced Robinson last week—is also sidelined with a leg injury.

Klich’s Status Still Uncertain for Atlanta

Atlanta United defensive midfielder Mateusz Klich is questionable for the second straight week due to a quadriceps injury. The Polish international has only played 96 minutes in two regular-season appearances so far.
His absence could be a major blow for Ronny Deila’s side, which is already missing eight players due to international call-ups—including Bartosz Slisz, Klich’s usual midfield partner in a 4-2-3-1 setup.
With five of Atlanta’s six goals allowed this season coming in the second half, depth issues could be a real concern against a well-rested Cincinnati team.
Giroud Remains Out for LAFC

Struggles continue for LAFC striker Olivier Giroud, who will miss his second consecutive match with a leg injury. The France all-time leading goal scorer has had a tough transition to MLS, failing to score in 13 league appearances despite netting twice in all competitions.
To make matters worse for LAFC, Denis Bouanga—their top scorer for the last two seasons—is also absent on international duty. The Gabonese forward scored twice in a 3-0 win over Seychelles on Thursday in World Cup qualifying.
With LAFC missing attacking firepower, Sporting Kansas City—despite conceding 12 goals in their first six matches—may have an opportunity to capitalize.
