According to L’Équipe, Emanuel Emegha (22) could leave RC Strasbourg Alsace this summer after receiving strong interest from the Premier League.
Strasbourg remains in the battle for UEFA Champions League football, but it doesn’t mean they won’t risk losing some of the important players who are presently helping the club exceed expectations in sixth place. Emegha has been a standout in Ligue 1 this season, scoring 13 goals.
According to L’Équipe, Newcastle United is interested in signing the Dutch forward. The Tyneside club is preparing for Alexander Isak’s possible exit and has chosen Emegha, who is receptive to the idea, as a successor. Chelsea, who share BlueCo shareholders with Les Alsaciens, are also interested and have just presented the centre-forward with a career plan.
