Portsmouth legend Alan Knight’s charity match: Who will play, when it is, and how to buy tickets.

Portsmouth icon Alan Knight is facing his toughest opponent yet—prostate cancer.

Diagnosed in October, the legendary former goalkeeper is now at the heart of a heartfelt campaign to raise awareness and vital funds for research, testing, and treatment. In his honour, a star-studded charity match will take place at Fratton Park on Bank Holiday Monday, May 5, with a 2pm kick-off.

📍 The Event:

A Pompey Legends XI will take on an Alan Knight Celebrity XI in what promises to be a nostalgic and emotional day on the south coast. All profits from the match will be donated to:

  • PCaSO, funding vital equipment at QA Hospital
  • Prostate Cancer UK
  • The Barry Kilby Prostate Cancer Appeal

Who’s Playing?

Rather than a one-time reveal, Pompey have been drip-feeding the names of those involved—many of whom are beloved icons of the club’s storied past.
