Thomas Frank has already looked to rule out succeeding Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur this summer, insisting he is entirely committed to his job at Brentford.

Since taking over for Dean Smith over seven years ago, the 51-year-old has led west London to unprecedented success.

Brentford has built on their success year after year since returning to the top flight, and on Sunday, they have the opportunity to qualify for Europe for the first time in club history.

Frank’s impressive performance at Brentford has led to speculation that he could join Tottenham Hotspur or Manchester United in the coming years.

But earlier this week, the Dane stated that he is paying attention to suggestions connecting him with a move to north London because he wants to finish the season strong with the Bees.

“Right now, of course, I am committed,” Frank explained. “I just lost to Fulham, our local rivals, and I’m seething from every angle.

“So yes, I am committed like I have always been.”

Ahead of the last round of Premier League fixtures this weekend, new reports indicate that executives at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium have discussed the prospect of trying to recruit Frank from Brentford if they break ways with Postecoglou.

However, after guiding Spurs to their first trophy in 17 years by winning the Europa League on Wednesday night, Postecoglou vowed he will not leave his post as manager and hopes to build on his team’s achievement.

Meanwhile, Frank’s deal runs until June 2027.
